The HiSilicon Kirin 710 is a mid-range SoC designed to deliver efficient performance and advanced features for smartphones and tablets. Announced in July 2018, it is built using a 12-nanometer process technology, which ensures a good balance between power efficiency and performance for everyday tasks and multimedia applications.
The Kirin 710 features an octa-core CPU configuration with four high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A53 cores running at up to 1.7 GHz. This setup provides robust performance for demanding applications while maintaining energy efficiency for less intensive tasks.
For graphics, the Kirin 710 integrates the ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU, which offers decent performance for gaming and multimedia. The GPU supports modern graphics APIs and delivers smooth visuals, enhancing the user experience.
